Amber Stephens is a reporter based out of Orange County, Calif. Stephens reported on the Anaheim riots last summer for OC Weekly, which led her to be featured on RT America’s “The Alyona Show” and an upcoming documentary for Al-Jazeera’s “Faultlines” series. Her reporting has been mentioned on the websites for Democracy Now, The Raw Story, Daily Kos, Overland, AlterNet and The Guardian UK. Previously, she reported for The Daily Titan, Fullerton Stories, LA Activist and KPFK Pacifica Evening News. In January 2012, Stephens traveled to Cambodia to report on a humanitarian medical mission by the Cambodian Health Professionals Association in the rural area of Koh Kong. She is a member of Phi Beta Delta, the Honor Society for International Scholars. Stephens will be graduating from California University Fullerton in the winter with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Print Journalism.
